I have visited this dealership many times in the past, mainly for service on different vehicles that we have owned. Never really anything exceptional as far as service goes; however, I just bought a car from them last week and it was probably the best experience ever buying a car. I work for a financial institution in the lending area so I am very familiar with how this process works. I laid out my deal and we came to a great compromise. Two days later I noticed a small issue with my vehicle, and used cars are normally "as is". But they allowed me to bring my car back and fix the issue at no charge to me. In my opinion that is great service and something that should be talked about. They could have easily stuck to the as is policy but instead did the right thing. I worked with Dan and Rick and recommend them to anyone! Thanks guys :)
Very impressed and happy with their customer service. I needed a new truck since mine was no longer drivable. They were able to provide me with a used truck that was in great condition for the make and model. I highly recommend smart Chevrolet.
I purchased a 2015 Ford F-250 in May of 2017. The tires on the truck looked to be in good condition. On September 20th, 2017 I received a Low Tire Pressure warning. I stopped at a local service station to fill the tires with air. I checked the manufacture tag inside the driver side door to get the correct tire specs... it lists 60psi on the front and 80psi on the rear tires. I began checking each tire and they all had over 60psi in them... I then noticed that all 4 tires say max 45psi. They sold me a truck with tires too small for the size of my truck. I have been in several different states hauling a camper with my wife and 3 kids. I am shocked we have yet to have a blowout. On September 21, 2017 I have had the correct tires put on the truck at a cost of $835. I think Smart Chevrolet should take responsibility and reimburse me on the new tires. It is their responsibility to check the vehicles they sell are safe to drive. Had we been involved in an accident, they would be sued for millions.
The people at this dealership were friendly, professional, and not at all pushy. They really worked hard to earn my business, much harder than other dealers I've worked with in Greensboro. They even worked with a different bank based on my recommendation. If you're looking for a great bunch of people to work with, these guys are it.
BEWARE. Completely disappointed with this dealership. I talked with two different employees immediately before driving 45 minutes to look at a specific car at Smart Chevrolet -- both confirmed with me that the car was STILL available and would be parked up front and ready to test drive when I arrived. Guess what? The car had been sold the day before. They continued to show me multiple cars out of my price range. When I did find a car that I wanted to look at, the keys were "missing." After attempting to "crunch the numbers" on a brand new vehicle that ended up being out of my budget (surprise) they finally "found the keys" to the other vehicle that was somewhat in my price range. The price of said vehicle wasn't terrible, however did not begin to match the hassle that I went through that day with them. Of course they tell me that this price is a total "deal" and that they are working with me because of the multiple inconveniences. I ended up taking my business elsewhere and paying LESS for the same car, 2 model years newer with 50k less miles on it.
